Our history
Built on Strong Foundations
Grit Security was established in Vancouver in 2019 with a clear mission: to deliver reliable, professional protection rooted in resilience and trust. We began by offering loss prevention and uniformed security guard services, quickly earning a reputation for professionalism and accountability.
Expanding Into Residential Security
As demand grew, so did our services. By 2021, we had expanded into concierge services and residential high-rise security, becoming a trusted partner for property managers and residents across Metro Vancouver. Our personnel provided both professional front-desk support and safety-focused assistance, helping set a higher standard for residential service.
Growth in Mobile Patrols & Specialized Protection
Grit Security launched a fleet of mobile patrol vehicles, offering clients flexible, on-the-move protection across multiple regions. That same year, we expanded into construction security, remote sites, and executive/high-value property protection, proving our ability to adapt to diverse industries and high-stakes environments.
Technology Driven Security Solutions
Listening to client feedback and anticipating evolving needs, Grit Security expanded into security systems in 2025. This included access control solutions and integrated CCTV, allowing us to offer complete, end-to-end protection that combines human expertise with advanced technology.
